2025 Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink
Calgary Charity Classic Foundation
Rogers Birdies for Kids presented by AltaLink is a non-profit program under the Calgary Charity Classic Foundation. This program is designed to help raise new funds for local charities, engage the community in the tournament, and provide matching funds for each charity involved.
Programs

Conflict Seminar Series
A program designed to equip employees with skills in conflict management, communication, negotiation, and team building to build stronger empathetic and collaborative teams.

Youth Empowerment Skills (YES)
An 8-week workshop teaching youth (11-18) communication, conflict management, and relationship-building for life.

Connected Families Program
A 9-week program helping parents and teens learn together how to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger relationships.

PEER Program
An in-school program designed to equip students with the skills to resolve conflicts, prevent bullying, and foster peer-led leadership and mediation.

Youth Legacy (Airdrie)
A program designed to empower at-risk youth with conflict resolution skills, mentorship, and support through a collaborative "village" approach.

In 2015 in Alberta, homelessness was experienced by more than 65, 000 youth, and with the increase in this reporting demographic, it's safe to assume the number of Alberta youth experiencing homelessness has only increased - Sunrise House 2019
